Cold Spring

Quite possibly Britain's newest bluegrass band with Guy Rogers on guitar and vocals, Josh Vande Hey on banjo and Eugenie Vande Hey on fiddle and vocals. Whilst being a British band, Josh and Eugenie both hail from Wisconsin so it's quite interesting that they have discovered their native music on foreign soil. Eugenie has a good powerful voice tinged with the blues and has moved from classical viola to bluegrass fiddle. Josh is an accomplished jazz saxophonist who has traded in a reed for finger picks and is now trail-blazing on the five string banjo. Guy is doing what he always does on guitar and vocals. Either way, you're going to hear some great bluegrass tinged with all manner of influences.
